Mamta Israni has over 30 years of experience as a creative curriculum designer, trainer, consultant, and educator. She is skilled with hands-on teaching methods and finding opportunities for scientific discovery in traditional classrooms and informal settings such as museums, libraries, and community workshops. She has worked and lived in many different states and countries. Her background includes working with all ages from a variety of cultures including the Lakota Tribe in South Dakota, African American and Latino students in Milwaukee, and Canadian seniors in the Toronto area. These experiences have helped her develop the skill of moving comfortably between cultures. In addition to CultureALL programs, she leads book discussion groups and teaches cooking and other adult classes at the library. In her spare time, she maintains her interest in plant biology through involvement in community gardening groups and as an active Master Gardener.
