Rhythms of Heritage: The Journey of Salsa Music

Presented by

Zahar Dragomirov

or

Join Zahar in exploring the rich tapestry of cultural and rhythm that make up what we today know as salsa music. Starting with the people of Africa, making it's way into the Carribean Islands and up into New York City, learn of the instruments influences, and rhythms that were added along each step, and how it has shaped this amazing music along the way! You will be creating your own salsa rhythm section with instruments that would be found in those times and places, and looking to see where you can add your own ingredients to this music we fondly call the Salsa!
