In the Philippines, making and displaying a Christmas lantern, or “parol,” is a widespread holiday tradition. In this workshop, participants will learn about the holiday traditions of the Philippines as they create their own (unlit) paper parol.

This workshop runs approximately 40 minutes, but extra activities may be added as requested. It is suitable for 3rd grade-adult. A shorter, modified version is also available for K-2nd grade.
