Asli Ada Kal was born in Turkiye and came to the United States in. In addition to sharing her culture as an Ambassador with CultureALL, she works as an ELA teacher. Ada also works as a translator for Ames Community School District. She has a passion for sharing about Turkiye. She also believes that all children should have pride in their culture and wants to empower immigrant kids like her. She has noticed that people in the USA don’t know much about Turkiye and Turkish culture and wants to show the beauty of her roots. She currently lives in Ankeny with her husband, two kids, and miniature poodle. She likes learning new things and travelling.
