Presented by

or

What can symbols reveal about a culture—and what can they say about you?

Become a culture detective in this interactive, hands-on workshop exploring objects, traditions, music, clothing, and celebrations from Puerto Rico and Colombia. Discover how everyday objects and familiar symbols communicate stories, values, and connections across cultures. Then, use your imagination to create an original symbol, flag, or emblem that represents your own identity, interests, family, or community. No art experience is needed—just curiosity and a willingness to share what makes you unique!
