Finding My Voice

"Navigating life as a single mother of special needs children led me to finding my own voice and using it for advocacy, mental health awareness, and caregiver support. As a mother of special needs children, I have had to advocate to ensure that they received the services and educational opportunities appropriate for their level of functioning to live their lives to the greatest of their abilities. This led to an even greater calling of assisting and advocating for other children and families going through the same struggles in navigating a system that is overwhelmed and underfunded."
