Carlos G. Chacon Quintero Born in Valencia, Venezuela, he began studying the accordion at the Juan Sebastian Bach Music Academy at the age of five. He completed the seven-year curriculum required to earn the title of Accordion Professor, subsequently dedicating an additional two years to attain the level of Concert Performer.

During his residency in Cartagena, Colombia, he gave numerous performances in art galleries, theaters, and private events, adopting European music as his primary means of expression in his capacity as a soloist. As a member of various musical ensembles, he reembraced Latin American music—drawing upon his cultural roots—thereby demonstrating the accordion's versatility in interpreting any musical genre.

Currently residing in Des Moines, Iowa, and dividing his time between his work as an Industrial Engineer and the cultivation of his musical roots, he has consistently upheld theaccordion as a high-caliber instrument for the performance of world classics—particularly those from Latin America—giving performances at various local events.
