Irish Dance

Presented by

Kelly Schulte

or

Irish dancing has been enjoying renewed popularity in recent years; this is largely due to Irish dance stage shows like Riverdance and Lord of the Dance.

Instructor Kelly Koeppel Schulte – Director of the Foy School of Irish Dance in Des Moines – has been Irish dancing for more than twenty-five years, and is experienced in adapting material for preschool through adult participants.

In addition to the instruction of dance steps, Kelly will work with you to determine what additional areas of Irish culture related to dance to explore. Examples of additional areas include St. Patrick’s Day, General Irish History, Dance History, and Irish Music.
