Games of Norway

Presented by

Just as the Vikings needed to be tough, many of Norway’s children’s games also require physical strength and agility. Traditional games including Basse, Bro Bro Brille, Gjemsel (hide-and-seek), Sisten (tag), and Stiv Heks (freeze tag) may be taught and played in this workshop, but it will be flexible to fit the environment. It can be taught in a classroom or gym, etc. and will also include other games that kids play in Norway currently.

Because being healthy and fit is such an important Norwegian value, participants in this workshop will be very active.
