Tavita Taue’etia is a native of Hawaii – a true Hawaiian/Samoan and a third-generation fire knife dancer. He began his dance training at the age of 10 and began performing professionally at age 14. Before moving to Iowa, Tavita choreographed and performed Hawaiian dance at luaus and celebrations at resorts throughout the Hawaiian Islands.
