Julie Hayes first learned Filipino folk dance as a student at the University of Northern Iowa (UNI). While at UNI, Ms. Hayes had the privilege of performing with UNI’s International Dance Theatre and participating in the local social and ballroom dance scenes. Ms. Hayes enjoys Middle Eastern dance and performs Polynesian dance as well as Filipino folk dance.
