CultureALL Receives Renewed Funding as one of Iowa’s Cultural Leadership Partners

We are pleased to announce that CultureALL has received renewed funding from the Iowa Art Council’s Cultural Leadership Partners program!

CultureALL was one of 43 Iowa organizations selected last year to receive a 3-year grant for annual operating support. We received our first $10,000 grant in July of 2018, and a second grant this year.  As long as funding is available next year, we’ll look forward to renewed funding in July of 2020.  The grants are supported in part by the Iowa Department of Cultural Affairs and the National Endowment for the Arts.

The Cultural Laedership Partners program is funded by the Iowa Dept of Cultural Affairs

This year, the Iowa Department of Cultural Affairs awarded more than $2.1 million in grants for art, film, history and culture through its three divisions – the Iowa Arts Council, Produce Iowa – State Office of Media Production and the State Historical Society of Iowa. Learn more here.

Operating expenses are critical for every non-profit – they help keep the lights on and the doors open. They help pay staff salaries and other necessary expenses like technology and insurance. Operating funds are the most challenging to raise, because most grantors and donors want to fund programs and direct services. But programs cannot happen without the infrastructure expenses provided through operating support. That’s why the Cultural Leadership Partners grant is so important.

Thanks to the Iowa Arts Council, The Department of Cultural Affairs, and the National Endowment for the Arts for supporting our organization – and for their ongoing commitment to supporting the arts and culture in Iowa!
