Yolanda Duerson is a naturalized citizen of the United States. She was born and raised in the Philippines and came to the United States as a 17-year old college student. She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management at Brigham Young University and holds a Master’s Degree in Adult Learning from Drake University. In addition to working as an Ambassador for CultureALL, Ms. Duerson serves as a volunteer on the Commission of Asian and Pacific Islander Affairs. Yolanda has lived in Japan, the Philippines, Hawaii, Tennessee, Kentucky, Utah, Wisconsin, and Iowa. She now resides in Ankeny with her husband Brad and their three children. As a hobby, Ms. Duerson loves to do flower arrangement. She is currently writing a historical novel about her childhood.
